Rosin Bags
Rosin Bags – Fine Filtration for Pure Extracts
What Are Rosin Bags?
Rosin bags are heat-resistant mesh pouches made of nylon or polyester that keep plant particles out of your rosin during pressing. The result is a cleaner, clearer concentrate.
Why Use Rosin Bags?
The bag distributes material evenly, prevents debris in the final product, and keeps your press plates cleaner. It also boosts yield by letting resin flow freely while plant fibers stay inside.
Micron Sizes & Materials
Common mesh sizes range from 15 µm to 160 µm. Extra-fine bags (15–37 µm) suit bubble hash or kief, mid-range (73–120 µm) work for finely ground flower, and coarser bags (120 µm+) fit larger buds. Food-grade nylon resists high pressure without imparting flavor.
Pressing – Temperature & Pressure
Target 175–220 °F (80–105 °C) for kief and 195–230 °F (90–110 °C) for flower. Ramp pressure gradually to let oil escape evenly and keep seams intact.
Reusability & Care
After each press, let the bag cool, gently remove plant matter, and wash with warm water and mild soap. Air-dry to preserve the mesh and extend lifespan.
Compatibility
Our rosin bags fit manual and hydraulic presses alike. Choose a width slightly smaller than your heat plates so the stitched edges aren’t under full pressure.
